Emil Lyytikkä is an artist and designer who is interested in observing the details of everyday life. He depicts these motifs in ceramics and is currently focused on infrastructural elements in our surroundings. 

In his design practice he focuses on how the processes and tools present can guide the design work, facilitating change. Emil is heavily influenced by DIY culture, which he sees as a democratic approach to creativity.
