Emil Lyytikkä is a multidiciplinary designer who currently is interested in  communal space and patterns. In his practice he focuses on how the processes and tools present can guide the design work, facilitating change. Emil is heavily influenced by DIY culture, which he sees as the most natural way to create.

Besides working as a designer, Emil is a ceramic artist, influenced by details from everyday life.  In 2022, he  was an artist-in-recidence at SCCP in Shigaraki, Japan.
